Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, specifically a memory leak, by providing a crafted image. This is due to a problem in the OJPEGReadHeaderInfoSecTablesDcTable function in tif ojpeg.c.
Recommendations For LibTIFF version 4.0.7, consider updating to a newer version that addresses this issue, as the current version allows for a denial of service through a memory leak. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
