CVE-2017-8158

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions FusionCompute versions V100R005C00 through V100R005C10
Description The issue is due to improper permission settings for a certain file on the host machine, allowing an authenticated attacker to create a large number of virtual machine (VM) processes and exhaust system resources. This could make new VMs unavailable.
Recommendations For FusionCompute versions V100R005C00 through V100R005C10, consider restricting access to the vulnerable file on the host machine to prevent unauthorized creation of VM processes until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
