Description
The issue is related to a memory corruption vulnerability in the image conversion engine, specifically when parsing GIF files. This can lead to arbitrary code execution, allowing a remote attacker to execute malicious code. The vulnerability is associated with reading beyond buffer boundaries and memory leak issues.
Recommendations
For versions 11.0.19 and earlier, update to a version later than 11.0.19 to resolve the issue.
For versions 15.006.30280 and earlier, update to a version later than 15.006.30280 to resolve the issue.
For versions 15.023.20070 and earlier, update to a version later than 15.023.20070 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the image conversion engine for GIF files until a patch is available.
