Description The issue allows an authenticated Elasticsearch user to improperly view sensitive configuration information, including the paths and passphrases of SSL keys configured as part of an authentication realm, through the Elasticsearch nodes API.
Recommendations For Elasticsearch X-Pack Security versions 5.0.0 through 5.4.3, consider restricting access to the nodes API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, review and limit the permissions of authenticated Elasticsearch users to reduce the potential impact of this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
