Description
The issue is related to a memory address leak when handling a JPEG 2000 code-stream, which can lead to a denial of service. This is caused by a memory corruption vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat and Reader, allowing attackers to cause a memory leak. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker.
Recommendations
For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 11.0.19 and earlier, update to a version later than 11.0.19 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 15.006.30280 and earlier, update to a version later than 15.006.30280 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 15.023.20070 and earlier, update to a version later than 15.023.20070 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Acrobat, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
