Description A remote code execution issue in the libavc component of Mediaserver could allow an attacker to cause memory corruption during media file processing by using a specially crafted file. This issue is considered critical due to the possibility of remote code execution within the context of the Mediaserver process.
Recommendations For Android versions 6.0 through 7.1.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue, as specified by the Android security patch level associated with Android ID A-34097866. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
