Description The issue allows remote attackers to discover passwords by sending the username parameter in conjunction with an empty password parameter, and reading the HTML source code of the response.
Recommendations For EFS Software Easy Chat Server versions 2.0 to 3.1, consider restricting access to the register.ghp endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the username and password parameters in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
