Description
The issue is related to a lack of access control in the MediaTek touchscreen driver of the Android operating system. This could allow a remote attacker to elevate their privileges and execute arbitrary code within the context of the kernel using a local malicious application. The issue may lead to a local permanent device compromise, potentially requiring the operating system to be re-flashed to repair the device.
