Description The issue is related to improperly specified offset/size values for a submission command, which could cause a math operation to overflow. This overflow could result in access to arbitrary memory, as the combined pointer will overflow and possibly pass further checks intended to avoid accessing unintended memory.
Recommendations For Android for MSM, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For Firefox OS for MSM, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For QRD Android, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
