Description The issue is related to an out of bound memory access that may occur in the limCheckRxRSNIeMatch function when an incorrect RSNIE is received from the client in an association request.
Recommendations For Android for MSM, consider restricting access to the limCheckRxRSNIeMatch function until a fix is available. For Firefox OS for MSM, avoid processing incorrect RSNIE from clients in association requests until the issue is resolved. For QRD Android, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the handling of RSNIE in association requests until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
