Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Oracle Transportation Manager component, allowing a remote attacker to gain privileged access via HTTP requests. Successful attacks require human interaction and can result in unauthorized access to critical data or all accessible data, as well as unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification of data.
Recommendations
For versions 6.2, 6.3.0, 6.3.1, 6.3.2, 6.3.3, 6.3.4, 6.3.5, 6.3.6, 6.3.7, 6.4.0, 6.4.1, 6.4.2, consider restricting access to the HTTP endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
Security subcomponent until a patch is available.
