Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Android releases from CAF (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to the handling of shared content protection memory in Android releases from CAF. If this memory is passed as the secure camera memory buffer to a trusted application, it may not be detected as an issue and could be treated as secure memory. The problem is caused by the lack of use of the HLOS mechanism when transferring shared content protection memory. This could potentially allow a remote attacker to access the protected memory of a trusted application.
