Description
The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the HLOS microprogram component of the Qualcomm Secure Execution Environment for Android. This can allow a remote attacker to access kernel modules beyond their permissions. The problem is also described as allowing HLOS to write to fuses for which it should not have access, due to missing input validation in Android releases using the Linux kernel from the CAF repository.
