Description
The issue is related to the CoreAnimation component and is caused by a buffer overflow in memory. This allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service, such as memory consumption and application crash, by using specially crafted data.
Recommendations
For macOS versions prior to 10.12.5, update to version 10.12.5 or later to resolve the issue.
