Android versions prior to the fixed version
Description
The issue is caused by an integer underflow in the boot image processing service of the Android operating system. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause the device to crash and reboot. The vulnerability affects all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel.
Recommendations
For Android versions prior to the fixed version, update to the latest version to resolve the issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
