| Vector | AV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Microsoft Edge (affected versions not specified)
Microsoft browsers (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to improper handling of objects in memory, which could allow a remote attacker to access sensitive information or execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the user has administrative rights, the attacker could take control of the affected system, install programs, view, change or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Edge, update to a version that fixes the memory handling issue.
For Microsoft browsers, apply the necessary patches to address the remote code execution vulnerability.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive data and limiting user rights to minimize the risk of exploitation.
