Description
The issue is related to an uncontrolled resource consumption in PHP, allowing remote attackers to cause a CPU consumption denial of service attack by injecting long form variables, related to main/php variables.c. This can lead to a denial of service due to excessive CPU consumption.
Recommendations
For PHP versions prior to 5.6.31, update to version 5.6.31 or later.
For PHP versions 7.x prior to 7.0.17, update to version 7.0.17 or later.
For PHP versions 7.1.x prior to 7.1.3, update to version 7.1.3 or later.
