VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions iOS versions prior to 10.3.3 macOS versions prior to 10.12.6 tvOS versions prior to 10.2.2 watchOS versions prior to 3.2.3
Description The issue involves the Kernel component and allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in a privileged context or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted app. This is due to a buffer overflow in the Kernel component of the operating systems, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service.
Recommendations For iOS versions prior to 10.3.3, update to version 10.3.3 or later to resolve the issue. For macOS versions prior to 10.12.6, update to version 10.12.6 or later to resolve the issue. For tvOS versions prior to 10.2.2, update to version 10.2.2 or later to resolve the issue. For watchOS versions prior to 3.2.3, update to version 3.2.3 or later to resolve the issue.
