Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the Microsoft JET Database Engine, allowing remote code execution. This enables a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 10 Gold, 1511, 1607, 1703, and Windows Server 2016, update to a version that includes the fix for the Microsoft JET Database Engine Remote Code Execution issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
