7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions LibSass version 3.4.5
Description The issue is related to a stack consumption problem in the Sass::Eval::operator() function, located in eval.cpp, which can lead to a denial of service attack. This can be exploited by a remote attacker, resulting in a service disruption.
Recommendations For LibSass version 3.4.5, consider disabling the Sass::Eval::operator() function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable eval.cpp module to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
