Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Microsoft .NET Framework versions 2.0 through 4.7
Description
A remote code execution issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the IsValidUrl method of the SOAP WSDL Parser module. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely via a malicious document or application. To exploit the issue, an attacker would first need to convince the user to open a malicious document or application. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to take control of an affected system, install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
