CVE-2017-13086

CVSS v2.0

7.9

High

VectorAV:A/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions WPA and WPA2 (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to errors in cryptographic key management in the WPA2 protocol, which secures Wi-Fi networks. An attacker within radio range can exploit this to access encrypted information transmitted over the wireless network, such as decrypting or injecting data packets, or hijacking TCP connections. This is due to the reinstallation of the Tunneled Direct-Link Setup (TDLS) Peer Key (TPK) during the TDLS handshake.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
