CVE-2017-1000235

CVSS v2.0

10

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions I, Librarian versions <=4.6 and 4.7
Description The issue is related to OS Command Injection in the batchimport.php script, which can result in the web server being fully compromised. This is due to the lack of neutralization of special elements used in operating system commands. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted HTTP requests, allowing them to execute arbitrary operating system commands.
Recommendations For I, Librarian versions <=4.6 and 4.7, consider restricting access to the batchimport.php script until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the batchimport.php script to minimize the risk of exploitation.
