Description:
A Remote Code Execution issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the dbman.exe executable of the HPE Intelligent Management Center PLAT platform. This allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM.
Recommendations:
For HPE Intelligent Management Center (iMC) PLAT version 7.3 E0506, consider disabling the dbman.exe executable as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the dbman.exe executable to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
