Description The issue is related to the Resource Timing API, which incorrectly reveals navigations in cross-origin iframes, violating the same-origin policy. This could allow for data theft of URLs loaded by users. The vulnerability is also described as being related to the incorrect neutralization of alternative syntax for XSS, which could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations For Firefox versions prior to 57, update to version 57 or later to resolve the issue. For Firefox ESR versions prior to 52.5, update to version 52.5 or later to resolve the issue. For Thunderbird versions prior to 52.5, update to version 52.5 or later to resolve the issue.
