Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Oliver (formerly Webshare) versions 1.3.1 and earlier
Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PATH INFO to specific pages, including the login page at "index.php" and the login form at "loginform-inc.php". This can be achieved by manipulating the
PATH INFO variable.Recommendations:
For Oliver (formerly Webshare) versions 1.3.1 and earlier, consider restricting access to the login page and login form until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the vulnerable
PATH INFO variable in the affected API endpoints.Exploit
