CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions phpMyBackupPro versions 2.1 through 2.5
Description The issue allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the view parameter in the get file.php file. This is due to an incomplete fix.
Recommendations For phpMyBackupPro versions 2.1 through 2.5, consider restricting access to the get file.php file until a complete fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the view parameter in the get file.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
