CVE-2015-8356

CVSS v2.0

6.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Bitrix versions 6.5.2 and earlier
Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This can be achieved via several parameters in two API endpoints: "admin/mcart xls import.php" and "admin/mcart xls import step 2.php". The vulnerable parameters are xls profile, xls iblock id, xls iblock section id, firstRow, titleRow, firstColumn, highestColumn, sku iblock id, and xls iblock section id new.
Recommendations For Bitrix versions 6.5.2 and earlier, consider restricting access to the "admin/mcart xls import.php" and "admin/mcart xls import step 2.php" endpoints until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the parameters xls profile, xls iblock id, xls iblock section id, firstRow, titleRow, firstColumn, highestColumn, sku iblock id, and xls iblock section id new in the affected API endpoints. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
