Description The issue allows local HVM guest OS users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a hypervisor crash, by leveraging a missing NULL pointer check in VMFUNC emulation on x86 systems using AMD virtualization extensions.
Recommendations For Xen versions 4.6.x through 4.8.x, consider applying a patch that includes a NULL pointer check in VMFUNC emulation to prevent the denial of service. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
