Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
ZoneMinder versions 1.29 through 1.30
Description
A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit an information disclosure and authentication bypass issue in the Apache HTTP Server configuration bundled with ZoneMinder. This allows the attacker to browse all directories in the web root. For example, an attacker can view all CCTV images on the server via the "/events" URI.
Recommendations
For ZoneMinder versions 1.29 through 1.30, consider restricting access to the "/events" URI until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, review and secure the Apache HTTP Server configuration to prevent unauthorized directory browsing.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
