Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions phpThumb versions prior to 1.7.14
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via parameters in demo/phpThumb.demo.showpic.php. This is due to multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in phpThumb().
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.7.14, update to version 1.7.14 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the demo/phpThumb.demo.showpic.php file until the update is applied. Avoid using the vulnerable parameters in the affected PHP file until the issue is resolved.
