Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Moxa AWK-3131A Wireless Access Point version 1.1
Description
An exploitable null pointer dereference issue exists in the Web Application
/forms/web runScript iw filename functionality. This can be triggered by an HTTP POST request with a blank line in the header, causing a segmentation fault in the web server.Recommendations
For Moxa AWK-3131A Wireless Access Point version 1.1, consider restricting access to the
/forms/web runScript endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the iw filename functionality in the Web Application to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
