Description
The issue is related to the way objects are handled in memory, which can lead to an elevation of privilege. This can be exploited by a local attacker using a specially crafted application to run processes with elevated privileges. The vulnerability is associated with the SvcMoveFileInheritSecurity function of the Storage Services component in Windows operating systems.
