Description
The issue is related to the Q.931 dissector, which could crash due to a use-after-free error after processing a malformed packet. This error occurred because certain cleanup processes were prevented.
Recommendations
For Wireshark versions 2.2.0 through 2.2.14, update to a version that includes the fix in epan/dissectors/packet-q931.c to avoid the use-after-free error.
For Wireshark versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.6, update to a version that includes the fix in epan/dissectors/packet-q931.c to avoid the use-after-free error.
