Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Espruino versions prior to 1.99
Description
The issue allows attackers to cause a denial of service, potentially leading to an application crash, and may also result in information disclosure. This is achieved through a buffer overflow during syntax parsing when a user-crafted input file is processed. The misuse of strncpy in jslex.c is the root cause of this problem.
