Description
The issue is related to an uninitialised stack variable in the nxfuse component of the Open Source DokanFS library. This can allow a local low-privileged user to gain elevation of privileges on Windows 7 (both 32 and 64-bit) and cause a denial of service on Windows 8 and 10. The vulnerability is also associated with inadequate access control in the nxfuse component of the DokanFS library in the NoMachine remote desktop access system.
Recommendations
For NoMachine versions 6.0.66 2 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
