Description
The issue is caused by an untrusted pointer dereference error in the Qualcomm Qurt API component of the Android operating system. This can allow a remote attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.
Recommendations
For Android versions prior to 2018-04-05 security patch level on the specified Qualcomm Snapdragon devices, update to a version with a security patch level of 2018-04-05 or later to resolve the issue.
