CVE-2018-13801

CVSS v2.0

9.0

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ROX II versions prior to V2.12.1
Description A vulnerability has been identified that allows an attacker with network access to port 22/tcp and valid low-privileged user credentials to perform a privilege escalation and gain root privileges. This issue requires user privileges of a low-privileged user but no user interaction, potentially compromising the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system.
Recommendations For versions prior to V2.12.1, update to version V2.12.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to port 22/tcp and limiting privileges of low-privileged users to minimize the risk of exploitation.
