Description The HTTP2 dissector in Wireshark could crash due to improper handling of header data. This issue was resolved by verifying that header data was found before proceeding to header decompression in the file epan/dissectors/packet-http2.c.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 2.2.0 through 2.2.15, update to a version that includes the fix for the HTTP2 dissector crash. For Wireshark versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.7, update to a version that includes the fix for the HTTP2 dissector crash. For Wireshark versions 2.6.0 through 2.6.1, update to a version that includes the fix for the HTTP2 dissector crash.
