Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds array access in the
dhd rx frame function within the dhd linux.c file of the bcmdhd4358 Wi-Fi driver. This occurs due to improper validation of the network interface index provided by the Wi-Fi chip's firmware, allowing an attacker with code execution on the Wi-Fi chip to cause invalid accesses to operating system memory.Recommendations
