Description
The issue occurs when a virtual server using the inflate functionality processes a gzip bomb as a payload, causing the BIG-IP system to experience a fatal error. This may result in the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) producing a core file.
Recommendations
For F5 BIG-IP versions 12.1.0 through 12.1.3.7, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For F5 BIG-IP versions 13.0.0 through 13.1.1.1, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For F5 BIG-IP versions 14.0.0 through 14.0.0.2, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
