CVE-2018-0329

CVSS v3.1

5.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) Software (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the default configuration of the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) feature could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to read data from an affected device via SNMP. The issue is due to a hard-coded, read-only community string in the configuration file for the SNMP daemon. An attacker could exploit this by using the static community string in SNMP version 2c queries to an affected device, potentially allowing them to read any data accessible via SNMP on the device.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
