Description The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the ChakraCore JavaScript engine of Microsoft Edge, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted web page. This could corrupt memory, enabling an attacker to execute code in the context of the current user. If the user has administrative rights, the attacker could gain control of the affected system, install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
