CVE-2018-16622

CVSS v3.1

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions DoraCMS version 2.0.3
Description The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities are located in the /api/content/addOne endpoint and allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. The injection can occur via the discription or comments field. This is related to the users/userAddContent functionality.
Recommendations For DoraCMS version 2.0.3, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the /api/content/addOne endpoint until a patch is available. Restrict access to the discription and comments fields in the affected API endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
