CVE-2018-17176

CVSS v3.1

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Neato Botvac Connected version 2.2.0
Description A replay issue was found, where manual control mode requires authentication, but the authentication, always transmitted in cleartext, can be replayed to the "/bin/webserver" endpoint on port 8081. The issue is exacerbated by the lack of nonces and the absence of timestamp checks.
Recommendations For Neato Botvac Connected version 2.2.0, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/bin/webserver" endpoint on port 8081 to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
