Description An issue allows attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via shell metacharacters in the modelName, by leveraging write access to the /mnt/mtd/app/config/ProductConfig.xml endpoint.
Recommendations For Foscam C2 version 1.11.1.8, restrict access to the /mnt/mtd/app/config/ProductConfig.xml endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. For Opticam i5 version 1.5.2.11, avoid using the modelName variable in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
