CVE-2018-19548

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions EduSec versions through 4.2.6
Description The issue allows remote attackers to potentially obtain access via a brute-force approach due to the lack of restriction on sending a series of LoginForm[username] and LoginForm[password] parameters to the "index.php?r=site/login" endpoint.
Recommendations For versions through 4.2.6, restrict access to the "index.php?r=site/login" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation, and consider implementing rate limiting on the LoginForm[username] and LoginForm[password] parameters.
