Description A denial of service issue was found due to an invalid memory address dereference in the huffcode function, located in libfaac/huff2.c. This issue leads to a segmentation fault and application crash in the book 2 case.
Recommendations For FAAC version 1.29.9.2, consider applying a patch or fix to resolve the issue with the huffcode function to prevent denial of service. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
