Description The issue is caused by a hard-coded cryptographic key used for encryption of internal data. This could allow a remote attacker to gain full access to the device's data.
Recommendations For Philips e-Alert Unit version R2.1 and prior, consider restricting access to the device until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the device for sensitive data storage or transmission until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
