Description
The issue allows an unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Java SE executes to compromise Java SE. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. While the issue is in Java SE, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks can result in takeover of Java SE. This issue applies to the installation process on client deployment of Java.
Recommendations
For Java SE version 8u162, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
For Java SE version 10, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the installation process of Java SE to minimize the risk of exploitation.
